Ok so here's the deal. I know that the majority of us would agree that DDP 50nozzles are best all around for power/EGT's/Towing/fuel mileage... . but... I found a deal on NEW DDP 90 nozzles for $685. I just bought DDP 50's for $785(havent received them yet); PERFORMANCE wise, would you go with the 90 HP nozzles for $100 less or would you be happier with the 50's? (my turbo is stock with no upgrades planned in the foreseeable future)

It crossed my mind to send the 50's back and get the 90's for $100 cheaper

Collin, I've heard that the 50 nozzles are the preferred for all around performance; good performance and still good gas mileage. On you looking for 4. 10's to replace your 3. 73. I have a 2005 2wd/quad with the early G56 transmission and 3. 73 rear end. What I've learned here on TDR, the early G56 combined with the 3. 73 rear end, it's just like having a 4. 10. The later version of the transmission brought the rpm's down in line with 3. 73 performance. I wish I had the later version but when I'm pulling my 12,000lb 5er, I'm glad I have what I have. Good luck.

With injectors, less is more...

Stick with the 50's.

One thing to consider with aftermarket injectors is not just the total HP number. You are also getting injectors that are a matched set, that are blue-printed with each other and have all of the minor imperfections in the holes removed.

With your Smarty and the GDP manifold, you will love the 50's.

Thanks for the inputs, I was thinking the same in staying with the 50's; the reason i posed the question rather than jumping the gun.

I have a 35' 5er toyhauler that is 14K# loaded; the 35" tires knock my gearing down to around 3. 50 with the 48RE. That gear ratio is pretty tall and throws me out of the sweet spot when towing within CA speed limits. performing the calculations, installing 4. 10's would put me back at 3. 75ish and put me back into the cummins happy range.

Unfortunately the cost isnt within the bosses acceptable range which throws me into long term negotiations;)
