I am looking for a set of really bright off road lamps for the truck. When in very rural areas and in the back woods, you need some good lights. :)

After a few hours of research, I think the Hella 4000 Rallye might be a good way to go. They seem bright and all.

Anyone know any info on this subject? There seems to be a serious lack of good sources of info on the net regarding these things.

Thanks!

Robert

Hella

My son has the Hella Rallye 4000i we went to the mountains to ski early one day and on the way up he had them on. I told him to turn them off he's melting snow they are more than bright. He has 4 of them 2 are the Euro beam 2 are the Cornering beam. We use a Painless fuse panel and used bigger wire than what was needed didn't want to start a fire or short with minimal wire and relays one of the TDRs hand a great write up with pictures (I like the pictures ) of how to wire it up.

Tractor lamps

BSchwarzli, My '93 was originally owned by Dave Valentine. He installed Tractor lamps(Farm type) in the front bumper. When they light up at night, you can see the bugs sleepin in the weeds as you drive through. Really Bright. They came from NAPA, if I recall, correctly. GregH
