Would you belive that Air lines are importing Jet fuel from South Korea. Why? because Chevron ships take what is call Trans Mix (the fuel that gets mixed up during the change from gas to diesel or another grade of gas in the pipe line) to China, Japan,So korea and bring back Jet fuel. The airlines dont have to pay a tax on the fuel because its used for overseas travel. NOW THATS B S big time. #@$%!

I have absolutely zero concern about the liberal mantra of "cleaning up the planet. " The concept is mostly anti-capitalism rhetoric. The planet is doing just fine and will clean itself.

What concerns me most is what chairman nobama the petty dictator is doing to America and second, what he and the clowns in his administration and in the two houses of congress are allowing to do to our economy.

Probably the nasty taste of failure by some a hole off shore company (BP) doing the drilling. If there is drilling to do at least let some American based company F it up. Then they might not be able to pay a little and run. BP is selling out of the US (wonder why?) I have said many times in posts that BP (ARCO) sucks well I dont have to say Im rite. The company that will do the drilling needs to do it as clean as they can. It can be done look at some of the Scandinavian countries they can drill without making a mess you mean to tell me the country that put man on the moon cant. And just to pawn it off saying that it's just some liberal BS saying it cant be done, look at the oil industry and you might change your mind. They are PIGS they get away with more pollution than others because they just buy politicians off. Gail, you've got to stop watching CNN and the rest of the propaganda media.

The BP drilling rig blowout in the Gulf of Mexico was mostly a media hype job encouraged by the corrupt wannabe dictator. I have read that only a few months after the spill there was no evidence of oil in the Gulf. Crude oil is a natural product produced by nature. The natural movement of oceans caused by the sun and wind churns and cleans up oil spills without any intervention by politicians.

Do I think oil spills are a good thing? Of course not but they are no reason to go jumping off of tall buildings. It is just another manufactured crisis for the liberal media propaganda machine to overhype and stir up those who lean that way or are uninformed.

Is anyone really dumb enough to think if we eliminate all use of petroleum products and ride bicycles that China and India which have huge populations and developing modern economies and consumption will also stop? I am only going to be on this planet a finite number of years. I intend to continue living life to enjoy it. Leftwing loonies who hate capitalism because the smarter and harder working folks earn more and live in better homes can spend their time worrying about nonsense. Not me.

It was my understanding that Haliburtin was in charge of capping the well as a sub contractor to BP. I heard they were using shortcuts that BP disagreed with at the time. I don't know if this is true but I remember reading about it.

Ive always taken out my own trash (it might be only to the Mojave desert ) but still I have taken out the trash. I guess with the new majority in CommieCal that might pollute the ground water. Government oversight of this industry is so over the top that drilling has stopped and we are paying over $4 a gallon for gas. The Government needs to get out of the way so we can drill safely and get off the middle east spigot. I''l bet they have some real government oversight to save the planet. The Saudi prince probably looks out his window every day and says yup I can see it, they are pumping, everything OK here. Man, I can't believe you think the Government needs to get more involved in this industry. The middle east will own us.
