Anyone bombed their drik holder?

I love the adjustable drink holders, but they are just a littel too small for a 32 oz gatorade or my regular water bottle. The gatorade can be forced in, no go on my 1 liter bottle. It just needs to open another half inch or so. I hate having it tour the floor on the passenger side and taking off the seatbelt to reach it kind of sucks too. I'd love to fix it or somehow upgrade it.



Does the cup smoothie from GEno's go any bigger than the stock thing? It didn't look like it.

i can fit my 1. 5 liter water bottles into the factory cup holders, but ever since i got the cup smoothie, i rarely use them. the smoothie will hold the supersized drinks perfectally and won't tip over

are they really that small my cup holder can hold 1. 5liter cola bottle but noth bigger than that... i dont use it often. . or i use it but not for drinks... or maby a beer when cruising home on the weekend (i dont know if europe cola bottles is smaller but i sure now us cola and europe made tast abit diffrent)

The cup holders are big, my man size coffee mug sets in them perfectly. Plus the cup holders have a slot in each side for the handle to drop into.



That is ALWAYS my first BOMB when I buy a new to me truck. Oo.





Just measured bottom of said cup and diameter is 3 3/8" at the base and increases from there.

It is not supposed to be a problem , there is a large indent for clearance. See number 3 in the third gen photos, right by the water bottles.



I will get better pictures of that tonight if you want.

Yes, there's a different cup smoothie depending on whether you have 6-speed or auto. on my '03 6-speed, the shifter was 'nearby', but the BD short shift kit removed all doubt.

That's right. Rub it in. I miss the days when it was legal in Texas to have a cold beer while driving home from work, as long as you weren't drunk. I'm guessing that it's probably illegal everywhere in the U. S. now. But I guess a cup holder holding a 1. 5 liter beer might not be the best thing to have...

I have the smoothie in my 07 with a G56, if you slam the shifter into reverse it will just hit. I got used to it quickly and love it.

The 2nd-gen Genos cupholder will not take the large gatorade bottles. It will, however, take large powerade bottles. I have no input on 3rdgens.

Here's the uncovered proto of the replacement I built for the center console. It has storage all the way to the mounts with a false bottom where I mounted all my radios and trackers.



Have a few modifications to make before I cover it but it has been great so far.
