To buy or not to buy?

RV Tires

We are buying a Haybine from a fellow in SD. He also has a 32ft Trailrite GN FB. for sale as well. Are these trailers ok? They look decent from their website.

I had a lot of small issues with my Boat trailer from Trail Rite, I kept having issues with air in my brake lines. When I would plug or unplug the quick disconnect to the brake lines for the removable tongue, turned out to be the cause. I now have a permanent connection and leave the tongue on. They claim that was not the cause, but ever since then, I've never had an issue.

They have an awesome program, they completely restore your trailer to include sand blasting the components and reassemble the trailer and then repaint the trailer, too include restoring the original DOT tags. In other words it like a brand new trailer.

My bunks were worn out, and I was quoted a $1000. 00 by a couple of boat marine shops. When I asked Trail Rite about it, they quoted me $1500. 00 to go through the complete trailer. So they redeemed themselves in my eyes. ;)

I now have a brand new trailer.

I have a copy of the RV Consumer Group, which is a rating guide for all TT, 5th wheels and Truck Campers. I could not find a listing for a Haybine nor for a Trailrite. The closes I came was a listing for a Trail-Lite and for a TrailRider.

Can you be more specific as to the names of the RV's and who they are made by so that I can research them.

He's talking a farm implement and a flatbed gooseneck here. Haybine, mower conditioner, MoCo, pull-type swather - all names for an implement used for mowing and conditioning hay.

I have never looked closely at a TrailRite, but have seen a few of them running around the oil patch. . They're built in eastern SD. I can't really offer you an opinion, other than to say I haven't heard anything negative.

He sent some pictures and the trailer looks good. I looked at a load max the other day and the paint is still ok on it unlike our Delta trailer where the gravel stripped it off in no time.
