Left over synthetic oil

Iam due an oil change and I have approx 3 quarts of Rotella T 5W-40 left over which is approx 6+ months old in original container. Is there any problem with mixing this with new which now advertises an T6 formula? Hate to get rid of it because of the cost.

You shouldn't have any problem in mixing the two oils. Just make sure they are of the same Viscosity.
