Have a 08 and it was involved in a accident on the left front now ac is warm/hot on left front side registers and a little cooler on the passenger side, freon is good ,leak checked and charged to capacity

heard some groaning within air box of duct closing started to get a little cooler after 20 minutes but still not right something is broken within heater box a flapper possibly wont close or open correctly .

cab used to be able to hang meat inside and had a blanket for some passengers now its lukewarm?

where do i start looking before taking in to dealer for repairs ??

There was a thread I contributed to a while back that had a great link with pics of each step for a dash removal. Took me an hour to R&R and the part from the dealer was surprisingly cheap as well as re-engineeered to not break. In Texas, you need you some recirculation.

AC Results went from corpus dealer "L" Dodge, to my purchasing dealer explained circumstances , My dealer runs door check ok ,

says its low on freon by a pound and half.

Strangely Dealer L Dodge in corpus ,mechanic says it was a little low on freon , he evacuated vacumed for 20 minutes it held and refilled to capacity on friday. no ac blowing luke warmfrom their pickup facility said there were no leaks .

if it was a pound and a half low and had no leaks then 4 days later my dealer leak tested ,dye and sniffer said no leaks today.

seems they told me a bunch of crap after a 6000. 00 dollar collision repair payment and did not make it good to go as stated . wont go back there ever

If you can find this thread and post the link... I'd be in your debt... I can't find it.

Thanks!
