Im wanting to correct the nose down stance my 97 2500 2wd has, will a 2" leveling kit/coil spacers work for this? Is this a difficult procedure? truck has 212k would new springs up front make any difference? I seem to remember the 2wd trucks always nose dived even when new I think

So Throw a thousand pounds of trailer tongue wait on it. It will level out that's what it was made for

Really? I thought it was for driving around, arm hanging out the window looking cool:confused: This truck doesnt tow anymore, just goes fast these days, real fast:cool: I have a 24v dually for towing

have a friend that took his to the local spring shop and they fixed the rear springs . it's a 1/2 inch high in the rear now , that's what he wanted.

How bad has your front springs sagged at this point? My '96 had sunk right at 1. 5" over the years. I added the Super Springs Supercoil SSC-21s and my truck came back just over 2", and after five years has only settle . 5" with a full replacement on the front. The spring wedges that go between the spring coils will break your springs over time if you drive a lot. Personally, if you're going fast, I don't think that's a good idea. The SuperCoils usually run around $300 or less for a set..... They add a little more "chop" on a rough road, but the truck really holds in a curve better than it ever did. SuperSprings Self-Adjusting Suspension Stabilizers

This may be a dumb question but how do measure how much they are sagging? From the top of tire to edge of fender lip? I like the superspring idea you have better than coil spacers and I want to do that method I belive

I measured mine from the spindle center to the fender lip. Measuring tires is ok, if they all ran the same tires. :D I had 285x75R16s on mine, and they rubbed at 1/2 lock or so on the back of the plastic fender liner, so I started looking for a solution. Almost got it with the SuperCoils, as the tires barely rubbed... . I'd have to look in the owner's manual to see what the exact difference was. I know that the white dragon would take a corner 10-15mph faster than it ever did. The rear would drift before the front would start to roll!! Anyway, I think it went from 19. 5 to 22 from the spindle to fender lip, but that's off the top of my head, so don't hold me too that. I sold that truck to a guy down the road, so I'll have to call him to get the measurements. I've installed and sold several sets of the 2wd, and anyone I've talked to has been really happy with them..... I've had some complaints against the 4wd springs making them ride rough, but they forget I mentioned that when I sold them... . and they didn't want to go with new shocks, as I suggested, so I'm not sure the blame is all mine. I offered the guy new factory springs if he'd just shut up, but he didn't take me up on it, so I guess he just likes to complain... .

Anyway, I'm sure you can tell how much I think of them. I think if you're going to install a replacement front bumper, they're the only way to go.

Ill have to hit you up in a couple weeks when the funds are right for a set. I was fixing to replace my shocks anyway with the yellow and blue bilsteins from genos garage but with the replacment coils should I run the black and silver ones that are for lifted trucks?

No, I don't think so. The stock ones should have plenty of travel. That's a good shock. I use those, but get them through Orielly's. They retail at $108 there, though... .

If I can help you, I'd be happy to. Just let me know. Advice is always free!!
