So i've finally got my new to me 93' back on the road and am working at getting some of the bugs out. I've put about 200 miles on her trying to break in the new suspension (which isn't hard on California roads
) but I've had a repeat problem. I get the voltmeter bouncing mildly, lights flickering mildly and door buzzer waving in tune. I had the gauge all the way pegged at one point, then to 16-17 back to 14 and everywhere in between. I figured it was the gauge. The speedo and odometer quit for about 30 miles, then once i shut down, and restarted they began working again. Not sure if that's related.
So from my reading so far, my voltage regulator is in the PCM? I cleaned the the battery cables and started to run out of daylight. I'm going to clean the grounds well tomorrow. I checked the code and it's the 46 for over voltage or something similar. What should i be looking for as far a causes? It seems to stay bouncing between 14-15 volts but still throws a code. Any help would be great!
