Cummins, GM and Ford Diesel componet comparison

Ford 6.7L issue in RVNET

Dang,diesel's going for a fortune here in San Diego. :{ I know the dollar's dropped but the last time diesel was this price,the barrel was going for $150. It's what today, $100. 00? I know it's cheaper in some other states,but it's still too high. This has got be contributing to the lousy economy. :{

If we all would have invested in tobacco and oil stocks when we were young we'd be sitting pretty.

Our dollar has been severely devalued by the outrageous spending and debt increase by the current government.

It takes more dollars to buy the same product at the same price now.

$4. 03 per gallon last night in Lincoln, Maine.

Was $3. 92 per gallon last week.

They may be cutting it with #1 already, we are pretty deep into November. That will bring the price up $. 10 per gallon at least.

Mike. :)

At least you can buy Diesel. A refinery fire near Regina means filling stations across the Prairies and Northern BC are running out or being rationed.

Diesel runs 4. 19-4. 39 here in the bay area. On the other hand I can buy biodiesel for 3. 85 a gallon from Sirona fuels. I fill up the truck and 6 or 7 5gallon cubes for the next fill up. Need to get an aux tank...

I am sure it's winter fuel now, my summer fuel milage took a nose dive this month. Fuel price has been around 3. 85 all summer here.

I live in the oil patch and we are paying over $4. 90 a gallon (converted from metric to US gallon) plus we are rationed to 300 litres (80 US gallons) a day. This is not much fuel for the big trucks. Our only refinery had a fire and isn't expected to be up to capacity until next May plus the refinery in the next province is down as well.

I think this Canadian pipeline's gonna be a go. The Canadian's are going with plan B and rerouting it. With the economy in shreds here, maybe even our Prez will OK it.

Makes more sense than more Solyndra nonsense.

Both nations could sure use a boost. :)

I only wish diesel was as little as most all of the posts.

When winter fuel came into use here a couple of weeks ago, the price jumped . 10L which equal to . 375 a US gal. Our fuel price converted to US gal price from our 1. 30L = 4. 92 per US gal.

Its easy to put 150. 00 in the tank these days:mad:
