thats why they caught my eye, i like the toyo mt's, but they are overkill for my daily driver that is 99% road and 1% offroad. i do like the aggrssive look and size

I'm running the Grabber AT2 in the stock size... great tires :) Way less expensive than the BFGs I was running.

Speedy, like Paul Harvey used to say: "Now the rest of the story!" I think we might have found one of the culprits behind your low fuel mileage. It just takes more fuel to roll aggressive tires! Happy New Year! Mark

Actually, the AT2s aren't very aggressive treads. Run of the mill AT. They handle well and are wearing great. If I cut the short trip driving out, I'm getting about 15-16mpg. I've been told this isn't bad for winter fuel?

The tires in the link are actually pretty aggressive. I would say they are a direct comparison to the Toyo MT as opposed to the Toyo At. Lots of mixed reviews. Some of the guys on DTX are using them pretty hard. The first version that was non DOT did not wear well at all, but they were race tires so?

First thing I would do with the Grqbber is have them siped. Those blocks look solid, and won't grab the small stuff well enough, and will be horrible in snow and rain.
The AT2 is rated much higher than the BFG AT on Tire Rack, even though the tread pattern is similar.
All depends on what you are looking for...
