i bet the underside has more than its fair share of rust hense no pictures, and virginia isnt very far from the rust belt. for a 19 year old truck though i dont think there is much better out there. in stock form anyway.

Looks to be clean and lower mileaged.

Think he is a bit high on price, but doesn't mean he can't be worked down. If it is as clean as I would hope, should be worth $10-11.

As for the underside, I would not be too worried. Don't forget, my truck has seen 22 winters an the underside is still good. You will likely see it in the body before anything underneath will be an issue.

I agree with that pretty much, the exception would be fuel and brake lines and I think Va is out of the rust belt.

Double click the photos. Takes you to a page with large pics.

Underside is nice! Oo. Ok maybe $12. ;)

Man it's nice!!

It's priced that high because of financing i'm sure. That thing would sell out here no problem. I've been offered 12k for mine and it's not near as "clean". Don't forget that not too long ago that one sold in Texas i think for $25k?

So if NADA and KBB both say $6500, what is it worth?

I realize they are into the truck pretty heavily. If their stock numbers are sequential, it has been there for some time.

Yeah well... KBB and all are based on calculate depreciation etc. ever notice how a 360 gas will only bring $500 less than the diesel option? ;) (not sure if that number is 100% exact but it was not much last time I looked... ).

I find those books also do not take into account the exceptionally clean vehicles unless it is a collector vehicle like a hemi Cuda etc.

Virginia and West Virginia have very high humidity and they use salt on the roads in the winter for deicing. I would be very suspicious and look closely around wheel wells and up inside the rear inner and outer fenders behind the rear wheels where the wiring harness hooks into the tail lights! Road spray will eat the steel away from the tail light trim as well as the connectors.

Wiring harnesses and steel fuel lines inside the frame members are another weak spot with salty road spray and humidity! GregH

It will always boil down to what someone is willing to pay. These trucks, in good shape, will fetch big money. We have 2nd gen 24V's out here with over 100k miles and nothing too special selling for $18k. Of course out here people also think any car or truck manufactured before 1972 is some how worth 5 times what it should be:rolleyes:
