Does anybody know where I can purchase a laser cut, thick copper gasket for my turbo? I was told Northwest Customs but I have been leaving messages literally for weeks and never get a return call.

It's amazing isn't it. Message says "This is Jason with Northwest Customs. Leave your name and number and a brief message and I'll get back to you"

Been weeks of leaving messages. I don't think I'll ever call that number again for the rest of my life LOL

If it is a flat gasket, you can make one yourself! You can find flat sheet copper at most metal scrap yards. You may need to research if it is pure copper or an alloy with beryllium or other high temperature application metal. If it has a diamond or triangular cross section, it should be stamped. Laser cut doesn't mean anything, other than high productivity. Not necessarily better, otherwise. GregH

Just take a stock gasket to a laser cutter for a sample... ... ... .

Is that the proper one for a 3rd gen?

Can someone explain what the flange numbers relate to..... T3, T4???

T3 or T4 describe the shape, size and bolt pattern of the exhaust flanges that connects the exhaust manifold to the turbine housing.

Generally IIRC the larger the number, the larger the flange is, but their are also differences in bolt patterns.

3rd gens use a T3 flange, 4th gens (and early 3rd gens with the HE351ve turbo) use a T4i flange, which is diiferne from even the T4.

Did you mean late 3rd gens? I think my orig turbo was an he341
I have an early third gen (2004) 305/555 with an aftermarket HiTech turbo (HT62/71/13 Stainless Steel) on a stock exhaust manifold.

Which gasket from SCE should I get?
