For anyone who happened to read my previous statement, please forgive my vulgarity. Certainly language not to be used where a Lady could see. Emotions run high when it relates to the well-being of those close to me. As in the movie "Tombstone" when Doc Holiday is asked why he is helping Wyatt Earp, he says,"Wyatt is my friend. "

I was cussing Mother Nature this last weekend when I saw her winging baseball sized hail at my beloved truck! AARGH! Well, at least the grill and grill shell were pointed in a safe direction. Amazingly the cab cap survived unscathed. The hood? OUCH. :{

Well, first let me say I've never been in the US military. Those guys deserve the praise they get, as they get underpaid to be overworked. I was mostly overpaid and underworked, although I did almost get blown up and shot at on several occasions... . but by my choice, as I was working for a contractor, and could quit at any time I chose... . I just didn't have enough sense. The closest I've been to getting shot was guarding a pool..... Ironic, I guess. Anyway, no excuse for upsetting the powers that be, and breaking the rules. There are reasons to break the rules at times, but this ain't one... ... sorry.



Hey!! Got a good low mileage truck for sale, slightly dinged?!?!?? I bought my wife, Ashley, a new Durango last year, which had been in a BAD hail storm at the dealer... ... . pre Ashley-ized I call it... . They had to put a windshield in it before I could take it... . but it was much cheaper than a new one!! That storm was BAD!! They had to put windshields in 48 vehicles on the Dodge lot, and almost 100 on the Ford lot, due to the direction they were all parked. That Durango had a dent UNDER the door handle..... I guess from bouncing off the ground or the car next to it... . Sorry to hear, man. I got some small ones in my '03..... the '93 didn't take any, though!!!

Hey HH, I still appreciate your courage. I'm in a 'public service' oriented trade, but don't go overseas for it. I stay right here Stateside. And to anyone driving around the ST Louis area in the raging snow and ice, wave to those yellow Binders plowing your interstate way clear. Not just with one finger, OK?#@$%!

As for selling my trusty Cummins, I think you already have a hunch what my answer is. :-laf Already trying to source that way-cheap Krylon Cherry Red paint to repair and repaint my hood. It's amazing how close that stuff is to Dodge Exotic Red!

"Ashley-ized" that is FUNNY! I cant point that finger here in my house. My wife (Joyce) has a nickname of A. J. Joyce, and it's true! I've seen her do some moves!! Er, on the street! (To keep P. C. for this forum) She has done some amazing driving! Many a time she has avoided the impossible.
