Great price for a great battery! I only got them for $160 with a killer military discount.

You wont find a better battery for that price.

My batteries are original going on 7 years and don't miss a beat, but I'm thinking I can't pass up this price.

I replaced mine at 6 years out of habit, not need. In fact my OEM's are still going strong in my buddies 02 stroke.

Group 65 for 153. 99, Ive never seen them this cheap.

Thank you dieselpowered!

Just last week I was inquiring about batteries. I purchased online, picked up and installed in Sears parking lot, out the door for $307. 98 :D.

At first they told me it was a misprint, should have been $219. 00... but they would honor the $153. 99. This sale ends tonight at midnight.

The truck definitely spins over faster, maybe my imagination, but seems like the shifts and tc lockup is more abrupt.

Thanks again TDR and members, you just saved me more than the cost of membership! Jess

I just got back from sears, also installed in parking lot. I had to pay tax on 307. 98. The salesman couldnt believe the price.

This is what they first wanted to charge me

Sears - Product Options.

But I got them for 307. 98, no sales tax in MT.

I have also waited for these batteries to go on sale, and had even checked just yesterday, and they were STILL 219. 99.

Based on your link, I went ahead and purchases these batteries at 153. 99 each, then added 3 $14 digital tire gauges as gifts for my son and wife. Brought the order up to $350, then used the coupon below to get ANOTHER $35 off the order, PLUS $10 for being approved for a Sears.com credit card.

Either way you think about it, got the tire gauges for free, or the batteries for $131. 50 each. WHAT A STEAL, particularly since I had been waiting for them to go sale for ONLY $179. 99.

THANK YOU Dieselpowered !!!!

PS--heere is the link for the $35 off online promo good only until June 2nd--

It's not letting me check out at the sale price. They list at the sale price, but when I add to cart and go to check out, they come up at $219... WTF?

FIRST, try going further into the checkout process to see if the price changes AGAIN--just be sure NOT to enter your pay info until you are able to verify the final price. ALSO, If you are going to use the additional $35 off romo code, then also make sure that your final total, pre-tax, is over $350 by buying something else that you need. I had the same thing happening back and forth in the cart and finally resolved it by calling Sears.com customer service at 1-866-349-4358. Even the supe I was dealing with recognized that the price was changin back and forth, but ultimately she gave me the the correct price.
Be sure to have a window open that shows you the item # and sale price so that you can refer to that as necessary. Be patient and courteous, but FIRM with that you are simply tring to buy a listed item at the sale price... Took me almost 45 minutes on the phone, but I was also dealing with cc issues.

Seafish,

I got it to work. Bought and paid for, pick up tomorrow. Almost choked when I saw the price. Awesome, thanks for the heads up.

Jacob, don't forget that you'll need to leave your old ones for disposal, other wise there is a $15 each charge. Since my OEM are still in FAIR condition (based on hydrometer readings) I am going to keep them for use around the ranch and instead am taking a couple of old cores in.
ALSO, I would be sure to get a pair of batteries that are DATE matched, based on a small round sticker on the battery.
If they are not, I would insist that they find you two that are.
I can't wait to pick mine up and get them in!!!

Dieselpowered, did you get yours at the Santa Rosa store?? Like I said, I was just there last week, looking at the PM-1 (Platinum Marine) that were on sale for memorial day, but decided to wait for the P2. GLAD that I did. Thanks again!!

I happened upon the deal online also. Bought a couple and the Sears cracked out computer authorized the price and indicated 6ea at my local store. Went there and their computer indicated five left. Well, twenty minutes later no batteries on site. The salesguy said they'd have more coming in Wednesday.

Good call Clark on returning some shot batteries to them. My local shop should have a bunch laying around. Mine still start the truck great.

Showed up as $219 on the internet. Clicked all the way to paying for 'em and stopped there. Called the local store this AM and they would not budge off $219. Any tips?

Good call on the batteries. I have been waiting for them to go on sale myselffor months but have not seem them cheap enough to pull the trigger.

Last night when I saw this thread I went to sears.com and got the 219 price but by following the link previously posted through diehard.com the price showed 153 then went to 219 and in checkout showed the 153 so I got in on it. Still waiting for my store to email me that it is ok to pick them up even though online says they have plenty.
