Have put the Napa premium on my truck so far. Need front brakes and roters. The shop I use gets their parts from O'Reilly's and he says its the "premium" stuff. Also quoted Moog ball jouints and tie rods. Seems like I remember Moog doesn't have stuff for 2nd gens. Need your opinions. Thanks guys, RC.

Orielly's sells the Bosch and a house brand, BrakeBest rotors and pads... ... Bosch ain't what it used to be, but it's better than the house brand... .

They sell a full line of MOOG suspension parts. Avoid the Master Pro parts, if possible.

I put brakes front and rear on recently used Raybestos advance technology. So far best brakes I have had on ANY CAR/TRUCK Pulled my goose-neck stock trailer with 7 mules DOWN THE MOUNTAIN and no fade no smoke no warping and could actually stop at the bottom of the mountain. Didnt want to but orderd from Rock Auto Parts this time I GOT NEW PARTS.

Of the two, O'Reilly vs. NAPA, I'd pick NAPA every time, hands down.

Having said that, when it comes to brake pads I'll only get OEM parts, no matter what they cost.

Not me. Dodge can suck it. I'll use Orielly over NAPA any day, but that is mostly due to the people that work there and the extra 15 miles it takes to get there. If I really had a brake issue, I'd go for slotted rotors and premium pads from either Wagner or Bosch. Wagner used to be OEM for the older trucks, I'm not sure about today's electronic laden demons.....

If I have a brake problem, even with premium parts from the dealer, it's never their fault if they malfunction. It's ALWAYS a driver issue, not matter what dealer I go to. Especially if they install it. So I do it myself, so I can't be mad at anyone but me. And I know it's done right. And it won't FUBAR something else... ...

90% of NAPA parts are made in China or Japan. I'll use Autozone or Advance and get American made. Geno's are mostly American made also. Just had ball joints put in mine and my sons and both are 2nd gens and they were Moogs ,made in America.

Advance is not near my house. Not sure if I've shopped there. Autozone and Oreilly have more fluff stuff. They also sell Fram and other Chinese NON-OEM stuff. If it's Chinese and OEM I'm not as worried. Napa oil filters are WIX (OEM). Napa oil is Valvoline. Recently replaced a sensor in my niece Jeep Cherokee, it was OEM equivalent. Autozone near me is not known for OEM. High quality is not the same as OEM. My Jeep only gets Napa. The rigs I see constantly breaking on the trail go through non-OEM like crazy. Lifetime warranty on NON-OEM does no good in the middle of nowhere.
