Trailer tie down rails

Just recently purchased a New Vision by KZ toy hauler. In the cargo area there is a rail system on both sides. There was no hardware included when I purchased the camper. Has any one seen this one before or even know the name of it where I find the harware. Thanks guys. .

It's a relative of "L" track but I can't find an exact vendor for your particular track.

If it were me I would contact K-Z and see what vendor makes that rail so that you can get fittings that match exactly.

I have tried the big names in cargo control and am coming up empty handed.

Also it could be aftermarket by the previous owner. So another idea would be just to pull into a Trailer Sales and Parts place and ask them. There have been a lot of differnt brands over the years and some of them are now out of business.

I am assuming it is aftermarket. This was the second toy hauler that had the same system and they were different make/model campers. I stopped by one trailer parts and accesory store and they had no clue. With the price of diesel I would be better off just buying a whole new system vs bringing all 37 feet around to local dealers. I assumed it was common since i saw it in different campers

I have a similiar issue in a 2007 Haulmark Cargo trailer. A differnt style of tie downs but it was installed all around the walls and the only ratch straps available are the ones we already have. The company went by by years ago. To many rachet strap brackets break and we'll have to change the whole system... .

You said it was a new trailer, you'd think that common curtsy would mean they'd either include some or supply the vendor...

BUT before I used them, I'd be sure they were installed correctly, I'd hate to see my goldwing or other fine motorcycle knocked around because the body builder put them in wrong or without enough fasteners.

Just take it out and get regular E-track rails and the short straps that clip to them. Then you use regular ratchet straps. . I have a 1300# Yamaha Rhino and 4 straps hold it good. .

Have you compared it to the slide n' lock that Genos sells?

I've got a 43' triple slide New Vision by KZ and all it has is D-Rings in the floor. Bolts go all the way through floor with nuts and washers. No way to pull through. Use a Pingel removable stop to lock the front wheel. From the looks of your rails I don't think I would want to put my faith in them locking down anything substantial. Looks like whatever was supposed to lock into the rail could pull out if enough force was applied. At the very least I would make sure that hardware attaching rails to the floor went all the way through with washers and nuts on the back. I know I would be sick to stop and find my Ultra Classic had fallen over and bounced around in the back because something had pulled loose that wasn't suppoed to have. Also, call KZ, talk to Sherley Miller she can tell you all the factory options that came on your trailer with the VIN. I bought mine used and they emailed me everything on it, also sent me owners and maintenance manuals. Very good people, also love this trailer even though I bought it used it is very well made and has many years of life left in it. Here is her number and e-mail.

I sent pictures to the local shop and two days later they had all the info I needed and more on this system. It is an Up-Tite anchor system. Due to all of the excessive rain we have had here in Louisiaina, I havent crawled under the camper yet but this week I will look under and see how it is secured. For keeping four wheelers from rolling it isnt a huge deal but once I strap down the Aprilia it is now a Huge deal.
