So I found my truck to be sluggish on the bottom and and lacking of power on the top end. I decided to compare the #8 plate to a home-ground #10 I had. The result was I ground the #8 to a #100 plate, now I've got both low end power and top end. I moved the plate all the way forward toward the radiator when it was installed. Very happy with the results. I have the star wheel adjusted so I get a little puff of smoke upon initial acceleration. AFC housing is in the position closest to the firewall of the truck. EGT's with this setup, running empty with the pedal floored go to 1200 degrees.
