blocking unwanted forums

since the upgrade, am i the only one that is now seeing posts from ALL the forums? before, i had things like 1st generation, politics, 4th generation, ect. , blocked so as to not waste time weeding thru forums that do not pertain to me. how do i go about once again blocking those forums that are not of interest to me? i can't seem to remember how i did it last time.

I believe you used to be able to click on forums, then when the forum page came up you could enable or disable the forum by a button to the left of the forum. I am not finding that now...

You can always just block those who lace every post with fanatical political comments... .

That was custom code that I had written to allow that. I'm going to rewrite it for this version of vB too but I haven't been able to get to it yet - it is in the plans though. I do have the political forum excluded from View New Posts and View Daily Posts so you should not be seeing those there. Your previous settings are still saved and will come back when I get it rewritten.

yes, thank you Steve. i wasn't knocking the political forums, just using as an example. i pretty much only subscribe to 3G, general diesel, the shop, alternative fuels, other vehicles, lubes and additives. it saves a ton of time. .
