How accurate is the DTE reading??? Well, I found out. I was running the tank down as far as I could to install the tank vet mod so I went to the point that the DTE stoped giving me a reading and only read LOW FUEL. I had 40 or more Gallons in my RDS Aux tank so I wasn't going to be stranded. I don't think that there was a gal. left in the tank when my son and I pulled it. Made the tank very light and easy to work with and didn't even use a jack to drop it!:-laf Not sure if this is the way all the new trucks are but beware that it is much less forgiving than it used to be if you ignore the warning!

A lot of folks tend to ignore, or at least don't trust the mileage and DTE calculations that cars give us. I belive it is mostly due to how inaccurate they were when they first came out. However, car electronics and computer programming have come a long way and these in most cars are very close to actual numbers. The last 4 cars I've had with a system like this have all been within a tenth on the average fuel consumption.

What did you post a pic of your toilet?:-laf

I gotta' admit that at first glance it does resemble one of those old blue/gray bedpans ... ... ... ..... I think that the fuel color (plus the foam/bubbles on top) leads one's mind astray for a quick second... . :-laf
