GOOD LUCK WITH SALE And i never said it was a rust bucket but your asking price is a little Far out there And also if you would show pictures of underside and inside it would help I'm sure you are new to this forum and I did not mean to come off harsh but the more info you give in the ad the less stupid question's you will get asked

What $$

The "BOOK" price does not take into account : $ spent on blasting old paint that was not good from the start and new paint - new bumpers - transmission rebuild with BILLET torque converter - New cap - SS step bars - extra spare wheels/tires - headlight relay (for the troublesome/unreliable headlight switch) - up graded KN intake - 4" turboback exhaust - Bilstein shocks - Dowel pin fix - BORGESON STEERING GEAR + SHAFT - TOW MIRRORS - SONY radio - starter HD contacts - rear wheel hub nut upgrade - NEW factory dash top cover - AC evap + heater core - on and on etc.

SO WHAT WOULD BE THE "ASKING PRICE" ??????

MY ORIGINAL POST SAID PICS AND DETAILS TO COME.

Charlie,

We are only trying to guide you. You are dealing with a very small group of people that would understand it's value.

Some of the money you have invested will not be returned unless you hit the right buyer and even that will be a stretch.

What kills the value up here in my area and many others is the 2WD.

There are many more things that can be done with a 4WD so that is appealing to a lot more buyers.

Mike. :)

Maybe I'm just missing it but how many miles are on the truck? That can really change the value If its got low miles.

Sorry I missed that 136,000 Engine is stock NO fuel plate. Adjusted valves + tested injectors ~ 120,000 miles

Don't think I would get $11500 - BUT have to start somewhere. Saw a lot of trucks like this in TEXAS and nearby hauling for $ 4X4 NOT NEEDED OR WANTED FOR HIGHWAY HAULING .

Charlie

It's not a bad starting point. Go on e-bay or truck trader and look at the price the 12 valves are bringing. Ones in good shape are bringing close to 20,000.

I don't think I would pay that much, but they are in high demand.

the ebay trucks at 20 grand are fully loaded,,4X4,,3500,,duallies,,,with UNDER 100,000 miles,,,in mint condition,,,and YES they are easily worth that much,,if i had a black one near me i'd buy it to replace my 96 thats getting pretty rusty and 500,00 on the clock,,LOL. . that being said,,this seller's truck looks quite nice,,,BUT i am also curious at seeing the underside too,,,2wd might not be too bad for a summer truck,,,and it has a mice cap like mine too,,,
