I ahve an 07 5. 9 and the ride is incredablly harsh. Is this common? Ive had a dodge since 2000 and never had one ride this harsh. Is there a differnce in the HD? PLEASE HELP!!! What can i do?

Carli suspension leveling kit might be a good choice. Soft ride VR springs in the front and a mini-pack in the rear. Unless you have broken springs not much more that can be done other 1000 lbs in the box.

Even loaded this thing is brutal... I keep thinking something is wrong but idk anymore. I can have a 110 Gallons of fuel in the back and 6 horses in a 6000 lb trailer and it feels like there is no difference than empty its liek there is no travel

Mine rode like a bucking, drunk bronco with my camper due to mush shocks, weak springs and no swaybar. Some aftermarket suspension parts from Thuren,Carli and Hellwig have it dialed in pretty well.
Climb under your truck loaded and you'll see as you suspect: no spring travel just like my '85 Toyota unladen.

SRW or DRW?

What do you run for tires and pressure?

2500 or 3500?

The suspension on your 07 is the same as 03-09, and I wouldn't classify it as harsh on my 05 3500 SRW or my dad's 06 2500.

How many miles on the truck?

I got rid of my stock suspension on the 05 with-in months of purchasing it. The front springs were too stiff and had next to no travel before bottoming out (speed bumps etc) the rears are too stiff and once they hit the bottom leaf the travel stops-again making a harsh ride. Now with Carli springs front and rear with his custom valved King shocks it rides incredible. Wheather it is in the dirt at 80mph or on broken pavement hauling a trailer. I stepped up and got the long travel airbags so it can still be loaded heavy if the need arises. Hydrobumps front and rear help the final inches of travel if you hit something hard enough to get through the shock valving.
