Just looking for some direction, I turn wrenches in my own small shop and barely ever work on my 3 trucks thats why i love my 93ctd. Saturday night the clutch disc let go shifting into 3rd on an uphill . It was a valeo dated 05 with lots of friction material left, my main supllier napa has several options and the internet machine shows many more i just don't want to have to pull it apart again. Its a work truck with a 9' vplow dump body and an owner that loves to overload it with a 120 excavator.

Is it a factory type 13" or an aftermarket 12. 3" You said it "let go" I assume the hub broke? That is typical of the 12. 3" The 13" oem is a good clutch. You can also upgrade it with HD disk.

I have messed around with many clutches. I have settled on a brand that has never let me down: South bend Clutch.

I would recommend you look into them. They will likely have what you need and you wont have to worry about pulling it apart again. :)

I am also a beliver in SBC I've known Peter for at least 10 years and he has never let me down on clutchs or advise. The first clutch I got from SBC for my '93 was their 12. 25 and it worked quite well until the hub broke after about 3 or 4 years of service. After talking to Peter I went with their newer 13" clutch with a much improved hub. It is a bit touchier but I've learned how to drive it and I am quite happy with it now.
