I just talked to them today. They returned my call within 10 minutes. I ask them when the dual filter kit would be done and they said within a couple weeks. They are about 95% complete with it, just finishing up some hard line details. Sound like it will be a great kit and very affordable. Will work on long and short bed trucks.

Sounds good. The duel filtration kit is what I am interested in as well. Really trying to keep the engine compartment as uncluttered as possible. Would rather have everything under the truck and out of the way...

Wondering if the stock in-tank pump will push thru the dual filter setup and the factory canister filter?

Looks like a decent kit for the cash.

The OEM pump is pushing thru 3 filters on my truck and my dad's 06 without an issue.

I prefer to put a 20um f/w sep under the truck, and the "2um" after the OEM filter; however, my dad runs a dual setup under the truck.

The Donaldson P551313 is a better rated filter than the 4um Cat 1R-0750.

Just ordered the filter from them a couple months ago. Great customer service and the filter works great. Im probably going to end up ordering the dual filters and remove my stock fuel filter.

I understand adding a 2nd filter, but why remove the OEM heater/WIF sensor/filter?

All i see is more restriction. The new filters will do fine working as a water remover and its just one less filter to have to buy. IMHO. Unless you see something im missing? Im always open to suggestions.

I will leave my factory filter in place and change them on different schedules. Any contaminates that happen to enter the system from changing the Cat filters should be caught by the factory filter. Then changing the factory filter at a different time should allow the cat filters to have already cleaned the fuel before it ever gets to the factory filter housing. Just my . 02!

Unless the filter is plugged there isn't enough restriction to talk about. . and if the filter get's plugged then you will be glad you have it!

3 is better than 2, 2 is better than 1. . just what you want. You already own the OEM canister/sensor/heater. . and PF7977's are pretty cheap.

we have trucks that has the factory installed stock filter in them. once your filters are on, do not change them until you drop to about 3 psi under load. the filters work better the dirtier they get. ask wix. here is a pix of a 06 that got it's filter change at 150,000 because of some bad fuel i think i picked up in montana.
