FWIW, I only have issues with the TDR forum software as well. I use Firefox.

I hate to say it, but that is one of the reasons I don't spend as much time here anymore. I can also tell by the minimal number of new posts when I do sign on that others don't either.

It's sad really. I gained a bunch of knowledge from the TDR over the years.

If i hit reply with quote, it doesn"t go through, it says you haven't used enough words use 10 or more, and i have used about 30 words still won't go through, Getting frustrated at this thing, Monte

Mfurr - my guess is that you were typing your response inside of the quotes with brackets around them - you need to type your response outside of the last after the /QUOTE] - what's inside of that is what you are responding to you and the system doesn't see that as what you've typed.

Thank you for your efforts, for sure it is hard work and you won't be able to please everyone. As others have said the site has had more problems since the change. The change was a step backward and I still find the new layout frustrating and unappealing for many reasons. (I am on a few other boards so see varied layouts and this one is the most difficult to use). Now add the random hang delays and it gets unbearable. Basically I come check out a few posts and just leave frustrated when it hangs. Makes it less and less appealing to browse.



I hope you guys can get it straightened out and maybe get some better "skins" or allow changing the color contrasts and get rid of the excessive links. Don't know how many times I've gotten someone's profile instead of the post. The darn bold (unread) vs non bold (read) vs the bold author text right underneath is a pita. Move the mouse a tad when clicking and you get a profile. Plus the "ForumTDResourceWebsite Suggestions/Comments/Questions (Members Only) Crap SoftwareReply to Thread" path at the top all but disappears in the color clutter taking it out of play. As much as I like the site, there is only so much effort I'm willing to invest into adapting to yet another (from my perspective) needless software change. We are all forced to deal with that way too much already with other programs (microsoft or autocad or PLC software, etc).

Have you tried Firefox? I've had better luck with that than any other browser out there.
