CEL came on the other day, hooked up the Smarty to find out what was up and got these codes. I retrieved my list of codes to find out that P0251 was F. I Pump Fuel Valve feedback circuit and that

P0514 was Batt Temp Rationality. Could someone be kind to explain. Getting ready to make a 3500 mile trip to AZ. I am not worried about the P514 but do I need to worry about P251?

To start there is a flash available to address your p0514-tSB 18 022 07
Also a tsb for p0251 that my be caused by a failing afc actuator dodge# 05183245aa

I am not so sure I want to visit the dealer!!!!!!!!!!! To many past problems. When you first said afc, I was thinking FCA. Thats not what you meant is it?

He means FCA. The ECU is detecting a failure in the FCA setting where is is supposed to or giving high resistance feedback. Best to change it out.

The battery temp rationality is a nuisance code with a flash for a fix.

Got the new FCA today and Cyber the bolts came right out without warming the motor. Of course then I dropped one down into the frame, body, only God knows were, but it did not go to the floor as I hoped. But the diesel place that I got the new FCA had one I can use.

That bolt is sitting on a little ledge somewhere or hung up in a harness. Took me a month to find one once and surprisingly it was still there. :)

Glad the bolts didn't give you issues and hope that addresses the problem.

If I had crawled under truck when I dropped the bolt I would have found it laying the floor. I didn't think it went all the way to the floor, cause I didn't hear it hit. New one in, check for codes and nothing. Started it, ran for about 5 minutes shut it down and will see when I make my trip to AZ. Thanks for the help Bob and Cerber
