Back i 99 i bought a new 2500 ctd, had it in the shop 13 times between sept. and nov. , went with the lemon law, chrysler sent me letter saying that every issue was dealt with by the dealer, i pressed for arbitration and 2 weeks before it went to arbitration, chrysler called me and said they would honor the lemon law and would build me a 2001 CTD, so i wound up getting a 2001 in feb. 2000, and never had any trouble out of it, the 99 had different problems every time i took it back to the dealer, anyway when i was picking up my 2001 and cleaning out the 99, a salesgirl walked by, stopped and said ,so you're the one that bought that truck, i said yeah and now i'm giving it back, she said she was going to buy it when it first came in, but the mechanics told her to leave it alone, said it had too many problems, even after they took it back, they sent it to another dealer in a different town and tried to pass it off as Demo that only the owner of Bonham chrysler drove, the new owner found out that it was previously owned and contacted me about it, said he was having a whole bunch of problems and they wouldn't fix them, so i sent his lawyer all my paperwork on the arbitration with Chrysler and the new owner got a NEW CTD when all was said and done, Good luck and don't let them bully you, monte
