i bought my truck used and it had a leveling kit. at least im pretty sure it does because it sits so high in the front. im about to change the shocks and i want to remove any spacer it might have in the front springs. do you think when they put the spacers/leveling kit they remove an original spring rubber base or something that im gonna need?i dont want to disassemble it and have to put it back in till i buy the stock parts.

You may want to have the upper spring isolater and shock tower bolt ring on hand before you pull the spacers

does it sit higher in the front or level?... . should be level if it has one..... unless the had a plow in the front and they are compensating...

See if you can get a part number off of the shocks that are on it. Then I can try to figure out if they are for a lift only or will work for stock height and 2" lift. I have seen them either way.

If they are specified for a lift only you should replace them when removing the lift kit or risk damaging something if the shocks bottom out before the suspension hits the bump stops.

Sorry, I missed that in your first post. But these shocks (34522) that are on it are the standard height shocks so if they are in good shape you could continue to use and wear them out if you want.
