Flying J shows under $3. 00 a gallon at pumps. I plan on getting a 5 gal container and filling it once and a while. I paid 5. 99 a gallon in a 1 gal jug.

NO, do not reuse containers. NO. The risk of contamination is too high.

Bad Ju Ju. It's not worth it. Buy sealed jugs.

I think Napa was $10. 66 for 2. 5 gallons. I didn't notice what the normal price was or the brand name.

It is the number 1 thing stressed to us. Let me see if I can find something to back it up for you. I would never discourage any of you from doing this without good reason. I like to save a buck as much as anyone.

Mike, this has gotten me to thinking to the DEF systems have any filters or pumps that will need to be maintained.

No filters that I am aware of but there is a pump in the tank.

This is on Daimler and Fuso trucks, at this point I am only assuming the Ram's will be the same.

The current Chassis Cab trucks have a total of 5 filters and screens. Most of the problems have been related to low flow. Most technicians only are checking the filter.

There is a pump. A heater element on the 13s that is destroyed by any type of hydrocarbons. The earlier c/c's used heated lines. There are many dtc's for the scr system and some will keep the truck from starting. Usually get about 200 mile warning first
