bought a used set ot ddp 50's and ever since I installed them the truck has all over higher egts, won't hardly get to 370 at idle in neutral or park. and poor fuel economy and worsened performance. does that sound like nozzles could possibly be cracked?

Could be internal leaks, at the check ball too. I would send them to Dynomite for testing. They can also make sure the nozzles are correct and not for a 2003-4.

Did you buy the complete injector or just the nozzles and install them? Installing nozzles correctly is a bit tricky, if you don't have the right tools and take care with assembly it will come back to haunt you.

If it was a complete injector set, you may have found the real reason they were sold. Used ANYTHING in these fuel systems is a roll of the dice.

I am still trying to figure out what a "used volkswagon bug plan on a rebuild" is. Whatever it is it don't sound good. :)

The joke was and we are talking 60's,early 70 bugs , the seller would always say the engine was rebuilt but it always seemed like you had to rebuild it after you bought it

LOL, thats what I figured but taken literally that is not what it says.

"A used volkswagon bug plan on a rebuild" has a different meaning than "A used volkswagon bug, plan on a rebuild". Those of us that deal with bug plans on a daily basis it has whole different meaning. :)

Spelling matters too, those homonyms (and close spellings) can hurt. They're driving their Ram there. The new ones are quite quiet. If parts are loose, you can lose them. It is so loud here, I can't hear you.

For all the money we pay in taxes, it is sad that some of our young people are close to illiterate.
