Excuse me if this question has been posed already. Is there a difference between fleetguard and Mopar nanonet fuel filters besides $20? Also, I have not been under my 2500 2013 in a couple months, but, I called the local dealer today to price fuel filters, an he could not find the frame filter for the 2500...Did I miss something or ? I'm crawling under her tomorrow and will see for myself but I thought I saw one the last time I was under there.

Last but not least. Is GENOS the best price for the filters? Dealer engine fuel filter $55, GENO $45. Would rather give my money to the little guy.....

Thanks in advance.

I bought a half dozen of the Mopars that were cheaper than Fleetguard, as Geno's recommended. I got 3 of the other ones. I also got some air filters. I always get them from Geno's--good price, great service, shipping is usually cheaper than tax paid locally. Geno's is selling them more as a service to us, very little mark-up from the quantity price they can get. Fleetguard makes the Mopar filters for the Turbo Diesels. Slide under the truck just forward of the rear wheels, and look up, above the driveshaft.

there is 2 filters on the 2013 and up. One is located near the fuel tank above driveshaft and other on engine. GENOS list both.

When I tried to buy the rear filter at dealer a few days ago, the parts guy said it would have to be ordered and had a unknown delivery date. Then service manager told me it was not necessary to EVER change the rear filter. I was speechless.......
Had to put the old one back on as well as reinstall front one as they didn't have that one either and the Napa one was listed wrong(how I ended up at dealer in first place).
A simple service ended up wasting 1/2 day and still need fuel filters:eek::mad:
I ordered from Geno's for less than 1/2 price of dealer (and I get fleet prices there).

I worked with the Chrysler guy who comes to May Madness to get part numbers for the new Aisin AS69RC filter, gasket so Geno's will soon stock them too. Meanwhile, I recommend Geno's condenser guard [it also comes with a piece of plastic screen to protect from bug infestations :) ] and quick-release grille kit--however, since I don't mind removing 4 bolts with 10mm heads, I use all four pins to hold the "heavy duty" cover instead.

I just installed the Geno's condenser guard on my '14 yesterday. I ran window screen on my '05 since day one and it kept my condenser and radiator nice and clean and never ran too warm even when towing heavy.

It should keep the bugs out of my '14 too. The piece I hung the condenser guard on is thinner than a normal condenser. I'm not even sure what it is but it's the front one and the one that needs to be protected from bugs. (I sure wish I had a service manual so I could tell what all these parts are!) The condenser guard is long enough that it also covers the top part of the intercooler behind the bumper and should prevent bugs there too. I also have the quick release kit but I got so cold working on the truck that I am waiting for a warmer day.

So far I've added stainless 5 inch oval step bars and mudflaps front and rear as well as the condenser guard and screen.

I used channellocks to squeeze the bent over top of the guard at the left and right edges to fit the condenser (or whatever it is) more snugly.

@ Smorris, dont feel bad..My local dealer, and I'll name him because I cannot get ANY return phone calls from the service dept, Larry H. Miller Surprise,Az, parts dept could not locate the rear filter AT ALL.......

The service fella and manager has not returned any of my calls etc about the reflash for the transmission. I'll give them till wednesday before I give up.... Found another dealer that actually may give a poop about customer service.
