It was running great till I did this. I removed the Comp and the Blue Chip Diesel cover, put my stock cover back on and now I have a dead pedal, CEL, and code P1693. I usually run the Comp on 2, and on occasion I turn it off for a while and it always runs fine with it connected and turned off. Now this.... and has to be smogged by the end of the month.
Any ideas ??
TIA

I turn mine off for the smog test. Do you not have that option ?, you have to actually remove it ?. Not sure on all of it but if you drove it and did not put the stock waste gate elbow back in you will get the over boost fault.

DavidC,
Here in Cali, if anything is added to the truck that has to do with emissions, the truck will fail on site...part of the "visual" test. You have a Smarty, that I believe plugs into the ALDL connector ,Right ?

Thats the only code that came up thru cycling the key 3 times....after that code popped up the readout said "done"

I have a Diesel Dynamics Ultimate Fueling Box. Basically the same as Edge Comp only a different timing curve. Diesel Dynamics is gone but this box lives on.
