Everything seemed to work ok. Directions are a little off on what you see on the screen, but I was able to figure out easy enough.

One thing I can't seem to get to is the options where you set rail pressure, tq management, etc. I see no option for it, and the screens in the directions don't match up?

Mark if you got the SJR, there is no rail press option. You have to load a SW, 1, 2, or 3, before you get to options, then if you make any changes in options, you have to re-load the SW again before the option change will take affect.

I did not get the JR. It is the S06. I can load programs, go back to stock and use the POD.

I was surprised at how little power there was at 0 on the POD. Barley enough to maintain 55. I must be doing something wrong, just not sure what.

After you select an SW to program you get the change options selection.

Leave POD above 85 or so to adjust the power or it can get weird it how it applys the fueling curve.

I don't really use it much anymore, just pick an SW that works, adjust TQ to feel, and use your right foot to apply the power.

OK, GOT IT! I thought you had the JR.

0 is half power or less, a "valet" SW, I would not use it. Load up SW3 all defaults and go for a spin.

After you select an SW to program you get the change options selection.

OK I got it. You have to go back to it, select the same program and then enter the options.

The directions are not too hot, but I think I got it figured out. It sure does not stay in any gear very long with this new HP increase.

You will find that the POD selection of anything less than 99 with an auto trans, really messes with shift points, it's one reason I do not use it (POD). TQ will also have an affect, just not as noticeable. I always tell new Smarty users to use a lower SW, 1-3, all defaults, then drive it for a few days. Then if and when you decide to change an option, just change one option at a time and drive it. That way you can witness and record the change that was made, it will make it easier to tune the Smarty to your truck, because all trucks react just a bit differently to option changes.

Like stated earlier, SW0 is just a valet type SW, like if you loan your truck to your BIL, or teenage son...:D. Jess
