I have DiPricol gauges that have been in my truck since I ordered it new. Now that the truck is 10 years old the gauge lamps have burned out and I'm having trouble finding replacements. I need them for the Boost, Fuel Pressure and EGT gauges.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dan

I don't know if they are a different size bulb than Isspro, but, Diesel Manor has bulbs for Isspro. They may have handled Dipricol at one time and could possibly tell you what you need to know.

I called Geno's. They stopped stocking the bulbs several years ago... the search is still on.

Well that sucks. I wish I had bought one when they were available. I also just read on The Dodge Owners Forum that DiPricol was out of business.
I wonder if a LED of some sort would do the job. The hole is about that size or could be opened up slightly to accept one.

Scott

Looks like it may be REALLY hard to find...Dipricol has been out of business for awhile, and they even went to a newer style bulb at some point in time.
It seems like TST Products sold alot of Dipricol gauges for awhile, MAYBE they can help you source one, or a modded replacment--

PS, if at all possible, a pic might help us ID the bulb.

Are they the same push in style as a 194 but smaller??? Freightliner uses several like that for dash clusters and switch illumination.

A picture would really help.

Mike.

They are smaller than the #73 bulbs. About 0.5mm narrower and 0.25" shorter to you hit the gauge face.

I have a couple of quick TDR member projects to do tomorrow at lunch, I'll add this one on. I believe that Pollack supplies the bulbs for the Century Class gauge clusters and they are smaller than a #73 bulb.
I'll try to get you a picture for comparison.

Mike.

Sounds like the same lamp that Isspro gauges use, they call them a T5, even though all T5's Ive seen refer to florescent, smaller then a #73, Here is a close up pic of one

If so I just orderd new ones from Thoroughbred diesel

Seth's new to him truck has DiPricol gauges in it. Blew a bulb so the search was on.

We came up with a #37 bulb which works perfectly. Available at parts stores near you.

Thanks for taking the time to post those but they don't look anything like the DiPricols. :(

The blulbs they use are about the diameter of a common LED (maybe 3~5 mm) but are much longer.

The bulbs in my DiPricol boost gauge look like those described above, but my EGT gauge uses one 01891 twist-in bulb (which by the way melted and warped part of the back of the gauge housing before it burned out. I'm gonna try to go LED.

If your careful, it wouldn't be hard to make the bulb hole a bit bigger so soem other bulb will fit. There's even a dimpled area on the other side of the gauge where you could drill another hole for a second bulb.
