1st laugh of the day.

VW NB rolled over 100K last week, hows Houpty Pooptey?

Hoopty is happy, going to get all new struts and shocks in the driveway tomorrow. Alignment Tuesday along with new rubber.

I have put 6,000 miles on it since purchase and the no-name discount store tires that are on it now just plain suck for lack of a better word.
Sagitar or something like that. Make me nervous at 75mph.

Fuel mileage holding at 24mpg currently, up from 22mpg. It takes a while for the ECM to get used to a new drive cycle. Once all four tires point in the same general direction I expect another 2mpg for sure.

I get out of it after 63 miles feeling as good if not better than when I got into it......

Oh, found a new feature. The inside and LH outside mirror change color after dark so that the high beamers behind you don't disturb the driving experience.....caught them turning a greenish hue just before dark the other night and figured out what it was for...
Must take care of the owner.......
