Grandpa 2 more times Today!!

Our Daughter came out to the front room and said I think we need to make the trip to the hospital, she gave us a new member to our Tribe a Baby Girl. She and the Baby are fine, we stayed and all the guy's listened to the BS that goes along with a new born, Each woman has their story about how bad it was for them and it was worse that ALL THE OTHERS COMBINED. Well ok!! I have to give them the Thumbs up on the pain issue. Its got to be worse than a bad case of Constipation :-laf

With all the war stories out of the way, we were walking out to the truck when our Daughter-in-law called Penny and said we are heading to the hospital ITS TIME. Penny had just got done saying well one more birth to go I sure hope its not tonight im bushed. She gave us another Boy for Zachary to have around to fight with when they grow up. Actually im really happy with the BOY thing, Our Son was the LAST OF THE NAME until Zac was born, now another to carry on the name.

Trying to think of a way to congratulate you and the clan or tribe, congrats. And hoping that daughter's baby girl gets more of Penny's genes than your nasty (pun!) mule genes you carry around. And a Grandson to carry on the name. Hope he inherits a bunch of your Cowboy jeans, I mean genes. We have a second one due in Sept, hope it gets her Grandma's talents.

Penny and I have been Blessed in many ways, we thought that our two Children were our biggest Blessings until Zachary Louis, came along. He's in his Terrible Two's now and Hell on Wheels!!! Your right he get's away with things that we would have NEVER let go on with our Children.

When I found out that Nora our Daughter was pregnant I went to Bellerin for must have been a week, somehow when its a mans Daughter that's going to give him a Grandchild its just a little more than what at least this Cry-baby Cowboy could deal with. I went to bellerin even more when they gave the poor child part of my name, for part of hers Sophia-Gail. Sophia is her Great-grandmothers middle name and Nora our Daughter is named after her Grandmother, and I hope she wont regret having my name as her middle.


Then the other part of the roller-coaster ride came into the world, Caleb- Gerald, Caleb is the Mothers, Fathers name and Gerald is my Fathers. Zachary his brother is already protective of his little Brother, wonder how long that will last? When one of the family went to pull back the blanket to take a look Zac pushed their hand away and said NO NO guess they learn pretty fast.

All 4 are doing very well, I always sang songs to the Mom's belly's, when they were in their Moms arms I sang the same song as always, Sophia who never did much moving when I sang to Nora's belly, went crazy with smiles and looking around as if to say Hey I heard that off key moron before PROTECT ME!!

Caleb went to crying, maybe he didn't like the song when he heard it in person and not underwater.

Congrats, It is truly a Miracle of life to enjoy.

Gail is having a great time with the Grandchildren. I had forgotten how good he was with ours, He would come home from work clean up and that's the last that I had to take care of them for the evening. Don't know if any of you Men were like that? I felt Blessed having him around to help out, especially on his weekends I didn't have to do anything.

He gets after Steve the Father about changing her diaper, Gail says that its just another kind of **** to him, for I am the **** Master!! of Seeley lake with all the different kinds of animals we have I would have to say hes right!!! Sophia loves to be held by him, she can be cranky, Gail picks her up his hands so large that she seems to disappear in them and she quiets down. My Mother is amazed at how hard and tough Gail is working around the house, then can be so gentle with her.

I have been after Gail to get a haircut and shave his beard for months, both were almost down to his belt. He got both today and when asked what happened? he said that Sophia cant have a Garden Nome for a Grandpa.

Just wish our Son and his family lived a little closer so he could be with Caleb. He wont say it but hes very happy to have another Grandson to carry on the Family Name. We will get a week with them next week its branding time here and we move to his place for a week long visit. Im sure that he will have Zachary out with his Cowboy hat, boot, chaps on doing something Cowboy to help out, those two are inseparable when they are together.

Sorry to have babbled on about this, its not often we have Grandchildren born.

I think that Gail was happier with the Gnome comparison, rather than what our Daughter and my Sister did to Gail while he took a nap one day. They are lucky that he has an easy going disposition, He got up and went to wash up for dinner with the ribbon in his hair. When he returned he was the Cowardly Lion. Don't know if you remember the scene in the movie, The Wizard of OZ ? None of us remembered it, we had to look online to see it. His mind is so quick and sharp to remember such things in an instant word for word. :-laf
