Pics from Warren Truck Assembly - 2014 Ontario TDR Tour

Back in 2011 the Ontario TDR was fortunate enough to book a tour of Warren truck Assembly in Warren, MI. Now with the plant pumping out diesel 1500's, it was time to book another tour!

After about 8 months of back and forth, a date was arranged and we were granted tour rights for 50 lucky people. So on June 6, 2014; the Ontario TDR along with about 12 other states and provinces, all descended on the truck plant. Some of these photos were taken by myself, others by the plant staff on our behalf. I will work on getting more photos of the plant itself as I know you were all hoping for some more assembly line shots. As the plant is a camera free zone, I must rely on Warren themselves. And clearly they do not want too many pics of the line out there. But I will see what I can do about this.

I would like to again thank the Warren Truck staff for their efforts and generosity in opening their plant up again for us. I was told back in 2011 when we toured that we were the only tour that had ever gone through that plant that was not Chrysler internal. I believe that still stands meaning the TDR is still the only club or group to have toured Warren.

Thanks again to those of you that came out and supported another Ontario chapter event! Was an honor spending so much time with you all and also making so many new friends!

Looks like a great time. Getting to a TDR rally is on the list. We were in West Virginia 4wheeling during this go around. we were in Wyoming the weekend of the rally last year. Sure hope to be able to make it to the next one.

I could never do a job like that. They would be fully stocked in B series parts pertaining to any engine I have.

Let me put it this way. In my head this is a bi-yearly event and that's what I try to push for. 2015 is the second year. Assuming Cummins is game, I feel this would be a fair assumption.
