I was diagnosing a screaming noise right around 30psi boost. Fabbed up a turbo boot to pressure test the intercooler plumbing and found the gasket between the intake top plate and the head plenum leaks on the fender side from cyl#1 to cyl #3. I have quite a bit of corrosion on the cast iron part of the head.. probably rust creep compromised the gasket. I tried re torquing the bolts but that made no difference.... unfortunately I just finished replacing all the injector lines as they were nasty with corrosion. Is there a way to replace the gasket without going back through the injector line removal? At 1st glance I don't see a way.

Simple answer......no

Thanks --- was looking again last night. At least it looks like I can leave #5 and #6 connected to the injector tubes and only remove the rail side. Those are the hard ones. Gasket should be in this afternoon, will install over the weekend.
