Hello fellas, I have a 2014 RAM 2500 Laramie Limited with the 6.7 Cummins and 68RFE. 1784 miles and my check engine light came on. Truck smokes bluish white when going down the road, but runs well. Put my old Smarty code reader on it and here's what I found:
4 codes -
P1477
P1475
PF017
PD421
The code lists that I have found have the first two identified as Aux 5 volt source too high, and Too much secondary air, but I can't find the last two codes. Any help greatly appreciated - thanks, Jack in CT.

I can't find either of those last two trouble codes in the factory service manual for my 3500.

Those first two codes seem to indicate an electrical problem with the intake air diverter valve. Get it to a dealer for service under warranty as soon as possible.

P1477–INTAKE AIR DIVERTER VALVE POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
P1475–INTAKE AIR DIVERTER VALVE OUT OF CALIBRATION/ MISSING CALIBRATION

Best regards,

John L.

Out of curiosity, with 1784 miles on a 2014 truck, wouldn't you automatically take it back to the dealer and let him deal with it? I certainly would in a heartbeat, but that's just me....

Jlandry, where did you buy your factory service manual?
Geno's?
Cherysler's TechAuthority website.

It's only available in HTML rendered pages (web pages) on a DVD which runs using Windows Internet Explorer browser.

For best results, search for the manual by VIN.
