My 97 2500 just had a new transmission put in along with torque converter. Truck has 138k miles on it when I start it in the morning I always let it warm up for about 10 min or so. When I pull out and head to work it always drives perfect shifts fine. When you get to a stop light and try and go sometimes it will not want to go like the brakes or stuck or something. Once u sit for a second of it not wanting to move it is like the brakes release and it will go fine and won't act up again or will do it a lot. It also sometimes will move a little but feels like something is slipping and then grabs and drives fine. The truck sometimes wants to die when it won't move and then will start moving and catch its self and drive and one time it did actually shut off. I have had the truck to 3 shops now and they all have been pretty baffled with it the shop who installed the transmission took it out and put a different transmission in and torque converter along with a valve body rebuild. Also have had brakes replaced and checked and that is not the issue does anybody have any ideas of what's going on
