Does anyone have any information on the spray on roofs?

My 5th wheel is 10 years old and now seems to be the time to replace the rubber roof or go to the spray on types.

Any and all comments would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

Excel (Peterson Industries) worked with Rhino Liner (rhinolinings.com) to introduce a spray-on roof on their 5th wheel line a few years ago. For whatever reason, they've switched to a product by RV Armor - Excel/RV Armor's sales blurb is HERE.

Only thing you might want to check on is the "weight" of the spray on roof material....It'll weigh more than a regular EPDM/rubber roof and you'll need to make sure roof frame won't be taxed to handle the load...Do the math, find out area to be covered and ask how much weight that area "sprayed on" would weigh...I'd just want to make sure of that one aspect....how much more weight am I adding to the roof the RV compared to what roof cover weighs now.

my rig is 13 years old and have noticed when it rains white stuff would coat the windows . I figured it was the roof breaking down. I went on Dicor's website as they provide material to the rv industry . I purchased a cleaning solution along with 4 gallons of coating you roll on . You can do it all in one day. You want to you their sealers that come in caulking tubes both self leveling and none self leveling . This will extend the life of your roof 3 to 5 years .
