I would not change water pump unless it's bad 400K on my 98 original pump.

Problem is they are all CHICOM junk these days.

Have close to 200K on my 04.5 runs like the day is was drove off the lot!!! GAmes has a pretty good amount of miles on his by the looks of it. Ask yourself have I treated this truck well? if you come to the idea that you have do a complete service and motor on.

Maybe its just me, but if I cant go out to any of my autos and drive WHERE EVER!!! I want to, And at the most have to change the oil and fuel filters to make the trip without going over the service intervals.

THEN I WONT HAVE THEM TAKING UP ROOM IN MY SHOP

I'm with Big on this I use an analogy of can I drive to Alaska tomorrow if the answer is no the vehicle either gets into shape(which doesn't happen as I keep them in shape) or it goes away. My 01 has 310k on it now and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the North American Continent.

Ok guys back from trip 3K miles no mechanical issues . 1 blow out on trailer tire . I had installed BD exhaust brake came in handy . P.S. I still like my wife

Been using the new Durango for road trips. When I see a similar Ram I get a bit jealous. The new Durango is great but ain't nuthin like a CTD handshaker.

Glad all went well, I too won't have a vehicle around if I can't hop in it and go where ever I want or need to ! That includes my 26 year old 4 Runner with somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 k on it... head hasn't been off, neither has the oil pan ! Doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil either ! Might be putting the 03 dually back to work as a commercial vehicle up in the Bakken this spring, currently has only 247k on it .

I enjoy the way mine sounds in the tunnels on the PA turnpike. :-laf The gasser just doesn't have it......
