Finally showed up, 2015 Mega Cab in my sig. Brought it home tonight. 46 miles and already filthy.

Question is, looking at putting some Duraflap mudflaps on it. We live on a gravel sometimes mud road (mostly mud or dust not much in between) and wondering if the 14" wide mud flaps will give better protection without looking to big and clumsy? Going to leave stock to tires on it for now, probably forever.

Any body have some pictures?

I have a 2014 Diesel 4x4 Tradesman and needed flaps. After extensive research I decided on the Duraflaps. They are everything they advertise, easy to install, no drilling or cutting either. I can't speak for duallys but I am very happy with this brand for my single rear tire application, though they are more expensive than stock Mopar or Husky brands.

i have them on my truck. i have the longer ones and have no complaints. the only thing you have to watch is backing over curbs the flap will pitch between the tire and curb.

So far, so good!

Stab,

Had the husky's on my 06, good and stout units, but wasn't real impressed on the coverage. Granted they are significantly cheaper. They did a good job from the wheel well to about 2 feet back, but that was about it. Was getting lots of rock chips around mid cab on when I got rid of it.

Tramplineman,

Are those the standard length 12"? Happy with the length and width with stock tires?

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I bought them but, I have running boards and the coverage is good (adequate) for me. The rears are real good!

I don't remember what version these are. I would have ordered the longest version for the best coverage. Even with my 6,000 lbs camper they just barely stay off the ground.

Only when its unloaded and the rears are up above 45 psi. I'm not sure the tires are the real issue. Maybe its just the rigidity of this truck.

My truck always seemed to have a slight vibration, and I ruled out tires by rotating them, and because it still seemed to be the same vibration I assumed it was from weight of my bed. But when the Generals failed before the wear bars were exposed, but they were on for six years on the truck, I went to Michelin M/S II and the vibrations went away.
