04 fog light mod????

On my 02 I was able to put a jumper wire in the fuse box under the hood that allowed the fog lights to stay on with the high beams. How do I do this on my 04?? I sold my 02 and forgot where I put the jumper wire 10 years ago.... Thanks

X2…this mod is one of the favorites that I have done on my truck.

I did both the Brite Box mod and the "Fogzilla" mod (ie, higher output foglight bulbs), and combined they make a real difference in output. Highly suggest doing both.

It's almost 11 years since I did this mod to my '03 and no problems at all. I bought an extra switch to learn on and after doing my own, I swapped switches into 6 or 7 trucks for other Ram owners. I still have an extra switch on-hand that I could modify and pass on if needed.

yes, pull the relays, stick in the wire, reinstall the relays. Done.

Well I did the mod that RDeFayette found......doesn't work like the mod I did on my 02. This mod when done on my 04 ,turns the fog lights on with the main lights, you have no choice to turn them off at all.

Now you can try the multifunction switch mod that Bighammer linked to in post #6…while a little complex if you are fumble fingered, for anyone even marginally mechanically skilled, it is well worth doing and gives you independent yet combined control of fog, low and high beams.

Didn't say it would work like the '02 mod does. It works on '03-'05's. If you want to turn 'em of the easy way just run the jumper wire into the cab and put a switch in it.
I run with my headlights on all the time so it doesn't matter to me whether they are on or off. I just prefer them being on whenever I turn on either the running lights OR the headlights.
