Seat easy-exit function stopped working

Evening/morning all,

I have the 'easy exit on engine off' (forget the precise words) setting turned on, on my sig truck - so that the drivers' seat powers back a bit when you switch off. Small but convenient feature for my well-fed bulk.

Last week it stopped working. All the seat manual electric controls still work fine. The setting is still there in the u-connect screen and can be checked and unchecked. It's just that the seat doesn't move on engine off, anymore.

User error is the most likely cause, but what am I doing wrong?

Has anyone encountered this, and knows the fix?

Turn the feature off in the menu, then move the seat all the way back, then all the way forward then back two times then set it to your seat memory profile with the button on the side of the seat and then turn the easy entry feature back on. This first happened to me when I was cleaning the truck and manually moved the seat all the way back to make it easier to clean. This for some dumb programming reason clears the features setting memory. I now just make sure that I don't put the seat all the way back while cleaning or whatever I may be doing.

Fantastic! Many thanks indeed. (Slaps forehead) I even, now, remember your post. Never thought to search. I'm a drongo.* Will nip outside directly and reset it. How the world changes - now have to know how to reset the seats in my car! First World Problems, hey.

Without pictures......I can only assume that your RHD conversion is similar to a curbside trash truck...some pictures would be nice to erase this from my mind......
