Marker light fuse blowing

Back when I got my truck, about a month ago I replaced the marker light fuse. I did not think it was a big deal. Just a fuse to replace. Today when I was towing the beater car home on the flatbed I got halfway home and looked in the mirrors and my marker lights were off. I pulled over to check lights on trailer and they were still on. lights on truck off. Is there a recall for this problem as this is the 2nd time I have had to replace this fuse? I have to buy some of these micro fuse now as I do not have any. Anyone else have this problem? my neighbor told me it might be a ground wire somewhere. Any help will be great. Thanks.

Check the Plug on the trailer .If it only happen's when you are hooked too the Trailer then that is your Problem .Bad connection .

On my 14, I kept blowing the fuse for my fender markers. The dealer could not find it. It only happened with a trailer on. On the second visit to the dealer and with a different tech, he found the fender light wire loom was routed BETWEEN the overload spring and the bracket on the frame on both sides. When loaded with a trailer, the spring would pinch the loom. Replaced both looms and rerouted it.
