On my drivers side rear wheel, inside the drum where the parking brake cable attaches to the bracket, the little clip failed twice. I know someone has come up with a better way, but I can't find it in my searches - any hints?

try PM "Mysteryman " he will have a answer on it

Does this "Mysterman" answer any random question, or just questions regarding the clip on the parking brake? With the name Mysterman, I figured I'd clarify. Sounds like he could be the TDR equivalant of the Stig. :D

I've become more intimate with Dana 70 rear brakes than I am with my wife. That clip is a real pain, how that whole mess stays together is beyond me.

Actually I had mystery man (terry) work on this truck and replace this clip for me. He even helped install a new entire dash - awesome guy!!! But even he said this clip is a really bad design and I would need to keep replacing them. Some one had to come up with a solution.......right?

I would think so , call and talk to them , anouther option would be is a driveline e brake set up . On the back of your transmission or t-case
