Natural Stone Pavers

Headache Racks and Bed Rails

Had to do it, We went and connected to the outside world. Had cable for internet brought into the house, the satellite people were again raising the rates beyond what was reasonable.

Along with better more reliable internet we have a new TV system called Roku its GREEK to me but you might want to look into it, Penny said its less than half the cost of the Direct TV we had and there are so many shows that its beyond belief. Just thought that some would like to know.

I probably would have dumped Directv a long time ago but dragging that cable behind the 5ver, stopping to add another 100 mile piece until we arrived at our destination just did not seem feasible. Besides, everyone would be driving on it. :-laf. The best thing I could do is become a hermit and just ditch it all.

That always slays me, dive to a park either National or State Park and have a TV to sit in the trailer to watch??? we always found things to do, that after dinner and a beer by the fire it was time to sleep because of being tired from the OUTDOOR activities of the day. Of course I can fall asleep in front of a Rousing Game of Golf on the TV!!!

Gotta rough it ya know, microwave, coffee pot, radio. I do enough activities when I am home, i do not need to go someplace else to do it some more. A lounge chair, some reading material and awning is all I really require, now the rest of the gang is another story.

What's your upload/download speeds with your new cable Big?

Your talking to a guy that BARELY knows how to turn on the computer JH I have a problem with the new TV it requires 2 remotes 1 to control the on/off and volume and the other to select the program viewing. I can tell ya that there is a big difference in speed I hit enter and its there NOW!! where before sometimes there was a lag. Now when bad weather comes into the equation, I don't know what's going to happen. They ran a pretty thick cable to the house and ran lots of supports holding the cable because of the ice that may form on it during the winter. The young man that installed the cable said that they don't have very many outages ???? ya right I use to lie to the girl friend in High School when I told her there were never any others just her and we will be together for ever. I can do without both TV and internet especially when Yosemite Sam gets a hair up his XXX and tries to pester me, that hasn't been happening lately so he must have found a new magazine to abuse himself looking at. :D

Patriot, smart phone is probably easier to manipulate than a PC. So good luck "keep hacking". They have ballistic apps and a bunch of other neat stuff for guys

Yea, I'm OK on a pc, there's still a learning curve to someone who never had one before.
Been looking for a good ballistic app for a droid.
It's a samsung galaxy note 4. Pretty hooked up for a phone...
Anyway....back on topic....:D

We've considered going the internet route since we have a smart TV. Started with Dish and they crept all the way up to $120/month. Called them and they offered a "deal" for 6 months and now it's only $75. Still sorting through all the options out there. Keep us posted on how the Roku goes.

I also have the satellite for the camper and we use DISH as our provider less than $100 a month. I have to watch my Chicago Bears "MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY" when they are playing or the DW needs to watch her HGT/DYI shows. We usually watch the TV when it is raining out and the camp fire would be all smoke instead of burning do to the rain.
