DGamelin.....I can say with 99.9% certainty.....your fuel heater IS already on.

No need to go to the dealer to verify....IF you want to verify PERSONALLY, simply check the left connector in post #32, with the key in the RUN position, for about 12.4 volts. If you have 0.00 volts with the key in the RUN position....there is a problem.
 
I think so too. But the question is why his DEF heater fuse is missing and why there are no contacts for that fuse in the fuse box. Unless it's different than the 2013
 
Perhaps it's a "generic" RAM 1500/2500/3500 fues box......and that feature is only on RAM 1500's with EcoDiesel???

Only problem with that would be my 2013 (which is for 1500, 2500, &3500) manual says def heater is on fuse F63. But there was no 2013 ecodiesel.

The ecodiesel was introduced in 2014.
