Hi All. Once again I come on bended knee to seek the advice of the experienced and professionals! I am finally replacing my original tires on my 2003 Dodge (53k), and am wanting to install Michelins. I have done a search on here, but was not able to find any currant info on what size tire will fit. I currently have the goodyear 235 80r/17's, and have had no issues with them. Does anyone know if the same size Michelin will fit, or can I go bigger, (245, 255, etc). The tires I am running now have about 1"clearance between the duals. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Don

This is the MICHELIN tire I use on my '03 Ram 3500 dually. If you check either the Discount Tire or the Tire Rack websites and plug in your truck specs, you will find several tires that will fit your truck. By the way, for a 2003 reference purposes, use Dodge instead of Ram for the brand name. I too replaced the factory supplied Goodyear tires after over 8 years of use.

I've had very good luck with these tries hauling a very heavy load; however, I don't drive on snow or ice. I didn't buy from either of those sellers I mentioned, but a local Michelin tire dealer instead who matched their price and provides much better service.

I am running Toyo AT IIs. Good high mileage tire, but not worth a hoot in the mud. will try MTs on the rear next time.

I bit the bullet and went with the 22.5" conversion. Like it very much, tires fit with no lift, are super quiet, will last forever, and will never blow out on me. I bought used and got the whole set up for 2K.

Loving every min of it.

I'm using Cooper ht's on the front and at's on the back in the stock 235/80r17 size. The ht is a highway tread and the at is an all-terrain. Gives me a steer tire front and traction/drive tire on the rear. Have gotten almost 80 out of the fronts and 50+ on the rears. USA made tires too! I always run the front at 80psi and the rears at 50 when empty and 80 loaded. My truck is a 2X in case you are wondering.
